What's your favourite animal from the Big Five?

Welcome to the Sanbona Wildlife Reserve

Welcome to Lodge 34, or Uri Xam (Home of the White Lions), at the Sanbona Wildlife Reserve in South Africa.
About three hours drive from Cape Town, through the Robertson wine valley, is the amazing 54,000 hectares Sanbona Wildlife Reserve, owned by Dubai World Africa, which also owns the world famous Shamwari Game Reserve and other great attractions.
In 2005 Sanbona was named by Harpers and Queen Magazine as one of the best 100 places in the world. The Karoo scenery is spectacular, the night skies are clear and the stars illuminating, the air clean and fresh and the wildlife free roaming. The mountains and plains, indigenous flora and fauna, rock formations and rock art are all stunning. Sanbona is a truly wonderful break and experience in the African bush.
